SHAEIRAT ( (شاعرات / shaeirat = poetesses) ) is a collective international platform that produces and stages Arabic poetry performances by the poetesses themselves, in the Arab world and around the world.  In addition to mixing the poetesses' stage presence and voices with other media (music, theater, video...),

 

SHAEIRAT offers bilingual performances: Arabic/Spanish, Arabic/Dutch, Arabic/French, Arabic/English, Arabic/Chinese...

 

SHAEIRAT was inaugurated at the Festival d'Avignon 2022 In with a program of 4 performances, and has since toured extensively in Scotland, Egypt, France, Morocco and Switzerland.

 

SHAEIRAT regularly invites new poets to create, with international artists and musicians, their own performance based on their own poem.In parallel,

 

SHAEIRAT initiates and maintains an intense activity of translation and publication of poets, and invents new modalities of public presentation of poetry such as the first editions in 2025 of the Poetic Labyrint in Casablanca.
