Soukaina HABIBALLAH

Moroccan poetess and novelist born in Casablanca in 1989.

She is the author of four collections of poetry:

A Quarter Century of Sight. Arab Scientific Publishers 2014 - Beirut

There Is No need for You. The house of Poetry 2015 – Morocco

Five Wingless Butterflies. The Editions of Rawafid 2017 – Egypt

Plan B. Almutawassit Editions 2019 – Italy

This in addition to a novel and a collection of short stories:

The Barracks. Arab Scientific Publishers 2016 - Lebanon

Maybe Tomorrow. The Editions of Rawafid  2020 Cairo - Egypt

She has received several awards, including the 2015 Buland Al Haidari Award for Arabic Poetry and the 2019 Nadine Shams Award for Arab Screenwriters for her short film Who Left the Door Open?
She is a two-time recipient of the Creative Writing Fund AFAC.

Her poems have been translated into French, English, German and Spanish.
